Dhanbad: Three members of a family fell unconscious in an alleged underground toxic gas leak at Rajput Basti in Kenduadih area here late on Thursday. According to reports, Sunny Kumar Verma, 24, Divya Devi, 34, and Duggu, 3, suddenly experienced breathing difficulties, followed by vomiting, before collapsing. Family members rushed them to the nearby Kustaur regional hospital, where they are under treatment. Doctors confirmed that all three are now stable and out of danger. Medical officer Dr Shashi Kumar Ravi stated that patients exhibited similar symptoms, including respiratory distress, nausea and loss of consciousness, indicating exposure to toxic gases.
