Jorasanko (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Vijay Ojha of the BJP won the Jorasanko assembly seat, defeating Ansuman Mitra (SUCI(C)), Bharatram Tewari (CPI(M)), Bijoy Ghorai (IND), Bijoy Ojha (IND), Deepak Singh (INC), Hariram Singh (IND), Lakshmi Prasad (IND), Pawan Kumar Sharma (IND), Pradeep Kumar Saraff (IND), Pritam Singh (IND), Vijay Upadhyay (AITC).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Vivek Gupta, Bharatiya Janta Party Meena Devi Purohit, Indian National Congress Ajmal Khan and others. In the last Jorasanko Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Vivek Gupta won by a margin of 12,743 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Meena Devi Purohit was the runner up securing 39,380 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 1,91,911, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
