Joynagar (sc) (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Biswanath Das of the AITC won the Joynagar (sc) assembly seat, defeating Aloke Halder (BJP), Apurba Pramanik (Apu) (CPI(M)), Bidhan Chandra Malik (IND), Dinesh Das (IND), Niranjan Naskar (SUCI(C)), Pijush Mondal (IND), Ram Kumar (IND), Rupa Sarder (Mulnibasi Party of India), Sanjib Mondal (Aam Janata Unnayan party), Sankar Deb Mondal (BSP), Subhasish Halder (IND), Tapas Kumar Baidya (INC).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Biswanath Das, Bharatiya Janta Party Rabin Sardar, Communist Party Of India (Marxist) Apurba Pramanik (APU) and others. In the last Joynagar Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Biswanath Das won by a margin of 38,683 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Rabin Sardar was the runner up securing 66,269 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,28,097, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
