Jamalpur (sc) (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Arun Halder of the BJP won the Jamalpur (sc) assembly seat, defeating Atasi Pakrey (SUCI(C)), Bhutnath Malik (AITC), Biswajit Bag (IND), Gaurhari Patra (BSP), Raj Kumar Malik (IND), Rajib Saha (INC), Samar Hazra (CPI(M)).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Alok Kumar Majhi, Bharatiya Janta Party Balaram Bapari, Communist Party Of India (Marxist) Samar Hazra and others. In the last Jamalpur Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Alok Kumar Majhi won by a margin of 17,971 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Balaram Bapari was the runner up securing 79,028 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,29,313, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
