Jagatdal (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Dr. Rajesh Kumar of the BJP won the Jagatdal assembly seat, defeating Bula Adhikary (IND), Kanika Patra (BSP), Mandira Chakraborty (INC), Parvez Ahmad Khan (All India Forward Bloc), Pramod Singh (IND), Pranab Chowdhury (SUCI(C)), Rajesh Thakur (IND), Sharmistha Das (IND), Sheo Prasad Tiwari (Bharatiya Rashtriya Forward Bloc), Somenath Mitra (IND), Somenath Shyam Ichini (AITC), Suvamay Pan (IND).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Somenath Shyam Ichini, Bharatiya Janta Party Arindam Bhattacharya, All India Forward Bloc Nemai Saha and others. In the last Jagatdal Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Somenath Shyam Ichini won by a margin of 18,364 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Arindam Bhattacharya was the runner up securing 68,666 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,22,046, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
