Haroa (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Abdul Matin Muhammad of the AITC won the Haroa assembly seat, defeating Bhaskar Kumar Mondal (BJP), Lal Mohammad (IND), Md. Abdullahil Maruk (IND), Md. Rabiul Mollah (INC), Mrinal Mallick (IND), Piyarul Islam (All India Secular Front), Piyarul Sanpui (IND), Rafikul Islam (IND), Sk. Md Sahid (Aam Janata Unnayan party).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Islam Sk Nurul (HAJI), Rashtriya Secular Majlis Party Kutubuddin Fathe, Bharatiya Janta Party Rajendra Saha (SOMU) and others. In the last Haroa Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Islam Sk Nurul (HAJI) won by a margin of 80,978 votes. The Rashtriya Secular Majlis Party’s Kutubuddin Fathe was the runner up securing 49,420 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,46,763, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
