Jamshedpur: Retired Tata Steel employee, who was arrested on Monday for allegedly killing his wife, daughter and son at their quarters in Agrico area on Monday, has not yet yet revealed what triggered the murders even after two days of questioning, police officers said on Tuesday.Officers stated that the investigating team will now scan the call detail records (CDR) of accused, Ravinder Prasad Singh, 61, and those of his wife Sarita, 55, daughter Supriya, 31, and son Ravishek Kumar Singh, 30, whom he allegedly killed with an axe and hammer. The bank account details of the accused will be also examined.An investigating officer noted that the FSL team has gathered vital evidence from the crime scene. Ravinder had surrendered to police authorities by calling the ‘100’ service.Additional SP Rishab Trivedi said the accused was sent to judicial custody on Tuesday, but investigators will soon request his remand to continue their questioning. He said that the accused confessed to the murders but has not yet revealed the motive. He also confirmed that an FIR was registered on Tuesday.The accused’s eldest daughter, Priya Kumari, 34, who arrived from Gurgaon late Monday night, told police that her father had been deeply concerned following his retirement.“With no house of his own to move into after vacating the company quarters and two children yet to be married, my father was anxious about the future. He hadn’t been sleeping well for the last two weeks and even visited a doctor last week,” a policeman quoting Priya said.Singh’s elder son, Abhishek, 32, who arrived from Raipur on Tuesday, visited Sidhgora police station to see his father. However, after a brief interaction, the accused reportedly asked his son to leave.The ASP stated that the police are focused on building a strong case based on credible evidence to ensure the conviction of the accused.
