Hazaribag: One person was killed and six others were injured after a passenger vehicle overturned near Chandwa Tongri on the Danto Khurd main road under Katkamsandi block of Hazaribag district on Tuesday. The passenger vehicle reportedly lost control after trying to avoid a collision with a motorcycle and overturned by the roadside. The deceased was identified as Vinod Bhuiyan (55) of Duwari village in Chatra district. He was travelling to Danto Khurd to attend a wedding function at his son-in-law’s house, said police. The driver of the vehicle, however, escaped from the spot. Katkamsandi police station officer-in-charge Anupam Prakash said that the injured were sent to Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital.
