Bokaro: Thieves stole valuables from three houses at a locality in Kargali Bazaar under Bermo police station limits on Tuesday night. The owners of the houses were away at the time of the incident.Late on Tuesday, thieves broke into the homes of Channu Lahre, Raju Sahni and Santosh Kumar. Lahre, a priest, is currently in Chhattisgarh while Sahni, an employee of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), is in Gorakhpur. Kumar, another CCL staff, left for Chhattisgarh, locals told the police.The incident came to light on Wednesday morning when neighbours noticed the broken doors and informed others. Bokaro Harvinder Singh said police have started an investigation into the matter. However, FIRs were not registered as the owners did not return till late Wednesday evening.
