Times News NetworkChatra: Sadar police arrested four smugglers with 32 packets of brown sugar from an under-construction abandoned building near Baba Ghat ground under Sadar police station area, it said on Saturday.Those arrested were identified as Ajit Pandey and Lokesh Kumar, residents of Deoria village, Mohammad Irfan of Bind locality, and Mohammad Ejaz of Panchama locality. Police also seized a total of 12.12 grams of brown sugar including packing material and two mobile phones from their possession.Sadar SDPO Sunny Vardhan said that a raid was conducted at an abandoned structure near Baba Ghat ground to nab the culprits. “The arrested persons have been taken into custody and further investigation is underway,” he said.
