Ranchi: The women’s wing of the Ajsu-Party will hold its state-level meeting in Ranchi on July 4 to elect office bearers and draw up its future strategy, party functionaries said on Tuesday.

Addressing the media at the party’s office in Harmu, central general secretary Nirmala Bhagat said the meeting is aimed at strengthening women’s role in the organization. “Party president Sudesh Mahto will inaugurate the first session of the programme, which will elect various office bearers and decide organizational activities for the days ahead,” she said.Bhagat said block-level members and office bearers from across the state will participate in the meeting and share inputs on expanding the wing’s outreach. Party functionaries present at the briefing said the second session will witness participation by panchayat-level workers, ensuring representation from grassroots units.
