While CBSE Class 10 results were declared in the first half of April, lakhs of students are still waiting for their Class 12 scores. However, past years’ data clearly indicates that this wait is not unusual, and the result timeline is largely in line with the Central Board of Secondary Education’s established pattern.A look at previous years shows that CBSE Class 12 results are usually declared after May 10. In both 2024 and 2025, results were announced on May 13, while in 2023, they were released on May 12. This consistent pattern suggests that the mid-May window (May 10–15) is the standard result period for CBSE Class 12.The only major exceptions were during the pandemic years 2021 and 2022, when results were delayed till July due to disruptions in the examination and evaluation process. Outside of those extraordinary years, CBSE has largely maintained a stable mid-May timeline.This year, the Class 12 board examinations were conducted from February 17 to April 10. After the exams concluded, the evaluation process began in phases using CBSE’s digital marking system, which is aimed at speeding up checking and ensuring uniform evaluation across subjects.
