Naihati (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Sumitro Chatterjee of the BJP won the Naihati assembly seat, defeating Debajyoti Majumder (CPI(ML)(L)), Debjit Mukherjee (BSP), Dinesh Kumar Sharma (IND), Mamoni Adhikari (Baidya) (IND), Milan Patra (IND), Pradip Kumar Kundu (INC), Sanat Dey (AITC), Sanjoy Roy (SUCI(C)).

In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Partha Bhowmick, Bharatiya Janta Party Phalguni Patra, Communist Party Of India (Marxist) Indrani Kundu Mukherjee and others. In the last Naihati Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Partha Bhowmick won by a margin of 18,855 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Phalguni Patra was the runner up securing 58,898 votes.

The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 1,88,559, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
