Malatipur (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Abdur Rahim Boxi of the AITC won the Malatipur assembly seat, defeating Ashis Das (BJP), Azizur Rahman (Rashtriya Secular Majlis Party), Mausam B Noor (INC), Md Abu Tahir (Aam Janata Unnayan party), Md. Selim (Welfare Party Of India), Minarul Hosen (CPI(M)), Pradip Kumar Das (BSP), Rahul Sk (IND), Samim Aktar (IND).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Abdur Rahim Boxi, Bharatiya Janta Party Mousumi Das, Indian National Congress Alberuni Zulkarnain and others. In the last Malatipur Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Abdur Rahim Boxi won by a margin of 91,949 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Mousumi Das was the runner up securing 34,208 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,17,872, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
