Krishnanagar Dakshin (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Sadhan Ghosh of the BJP won the Krishnanagar Dakshin assembly seat, defeating Abdur Rahim Shaikh (INC), Ananda Modak (IND), Bomkesh Ghosh (IND), Ekramul Sekh (IND), Keya Biswas (IND), Labani Jangi (CPI(ML)(L)), Prabir Dey (SUCI(C)), Sanju Ghosh (IND), Susanta Kr Mondal (BSP), Ujjal Biswas (AITC).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Ujjal Biswas, Bharatiya Janta Party Mahadev Sarkar, Communist Party Of India (Marxist) Biswas Sumit and others. In the last Krishnanagar Dakshin Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Ujjal Biswas won by a margin of 9,305 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Mahadev Sarkar was the runner up securing 82,433 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,17,291, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
