Koderma: A 25-year-old woman was found dead in a bush here on Monday. The deceased was identified as Priti Kumari. Based on her mother Sonu Devi’s complaint, the police booked Priti’s husband Pawan Soni (28) for her murder. However, Soni remained absconding till late in the evening, police said. Family members claimed Priti was five months pregnant.Priti’s body was recovered from Gumo area near Satpuliya under Telaiya police station area on Monday. The body was packed in a plastic bag. The body was recovered roughly 4 km away from the rented house where Soni, an e-rickshaw driver, lived with Priti and the couple’s three-year-old daughter. Police said postmortem examination would reveal the cause of the death. However, sources said a family dispute may have been the reason behind the murder.Telaiya police said Sonu filed a complaint on April 4 claiming her daughter had been killed. The couple got married five years ago. “The vehicle used to transport the body has been seized,” the police said.TNN
