Daltonganj: The general manager of the East Central Railway, Hajipur, Chhatrasal Singh on Monday launched a modified brake van of goods trains at the routine overhauling (RoH) depot at the Barwadeeh railway junction in Latehar district. The modified van has roof mounted solar panel, cushioned seat, looking glass for guards, zero discharge bio toilet, phone recharging facility among others. Barwadeeh railway station superintendent Anil Kumar Dwivedi said that the new van is environmental and work friendly.
