Ranchi: The Centre for Environment and Energy Development (CEED) honoured 27 change makers of Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Bihar with Ekam Samman, acknowledging their pivotal roles in climate resilience and community-led transformation in their regions. The change makers represented diverse domains, including renewable energy, forest and water conservation, agro-entrepreneurship, waste management, traditional knowledge systems and cultural preservation, offering grounded models of sustainable and inclusive development.CEED organised a two-day-long event, “EKAM Dialogues: Samvaad se Nirmaan,” here on Wednesday, bringing together changemakers, policymakers, researchers and civil society members to discuss building resilience through dialogue and grassroots action in India’s eastern and central heartland.
