Ramgarh: National athlete and mountaineer Asha Malviya, on her west to east cycle journey targeting to cover a distance of 7,800 km, reached Ramgarh on Sunday after she successfully covered more than 5,000 km from Jaipur in Rajasthan. She was greeted by Ramgarh SP Ajay Kumar.The national winner of 100- and 200-metre races and mountaineer who successfully unfurled the Indian flag on BC Roy (20,500 ft) and Tenzing (18,500 ft) peaks, Asha, started her challenging journey from Jaipur on the eve of Indian Army Day on Jan 11. Asha said that she is doing this for women’s empowerment.
