Garhwa: A man died after being trapped under a tractor on Tuesday morning when the vehicle carrying illegal sand skidded on the road and fell in a canal near Aadar madarsa under Bardiha police station limits of Garhwa district. The driver of the tractor died on the spot. The deceased was identified as Ganga Chaudhary (20), a resident of Bichi village, police said. Rishikesh Kumar Singh, the officer in-charge of Bardiha police station rushed to the spot and the tractor was taken out from the canal by an earthmover. “The body of the deceased was sent to Garhwa sadar hospital for post mortem,” the OC said.
