Kalimpong (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Bharat Kumar Chetri of the BJP won the Kalimpong assembly seat, defeating Aldrin Lepcha (IND), Bhernone Britto Lepcha (IND), Rita Thapa (CPI(M)), Ruden Sada Lepcha (Bharatiya Gorkha Prajatantrik Morcha), Santa Kumar Pradhan (INC), Sisir Kumar Sharma (Akhil Bharatiya Gorkha League).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – Independent Ruden Sada Lepcha, Bharatiya Janta Party Suva Pradhan, Independent Dr. R.B. Bhujel and others. In the last Kalimpong Assembly elections, the Independent party’s Ruden Sada Lepcha won by a margin of 3,870 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Suva Pradhan was the runner up securing 54,336 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,05,460, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
