JEECUP 2026: The Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh is scheduled to release the JEECUP 2026 Round 2 seat allotment result today, July 10, 2026. Candidates participating in the counselling process will be able to check their allotment status through the official counselling portal once the result link is activated.The Round 2 allotment is expected to be made available between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM or later in the afternoon. Candidates allotted seats will have to complete the prescribed admission formalities within the notified timeline to retain their allocation.How to check the allotment resultOnce the result is announced, candidates can visit the official JEECUP counselling portal and click on the “Round 2 Seat Allotment Result for JEECUP Counselling 2026” link.Candidates will be required to log in using their Application Number and Password. After signing in, they can view their allotment status, download the provisional seat allotment letter and keep a printed copy for the admission process.Admission schedule after allotmentCandidates allotted seats must choose either the Freeze or Float option between July 11 and July 13, 2026. During the same period, they are also required to complete the online payment of the seat acceptance and counselling fees.Document verification at designated District Help Centres will be conducted from July 11 to July 14, 2026. Candidates wishing to withdraw their allotted seats may do so on July 15, 2026.Those who are not allotted a preferred seat or do not receive an allotment can select the Float option to remain eligible for Round 3 counselling. The next phase of choice filling is scheduled to begin on July 16, 2026.Documents required for verificationCandidates must report to the allotted District Help Centre with the original documents and two sets of self-attested photocopies. Lateral entry applicants should carry their ITI or diploma marksheets, while all candidates must submit a character certificate issued by the last attended institution.Previous cutoff trendsClosing ranks vary according to the institution and branch. Popular government polytechnics generally close admissions for Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering between ranks 5,000 and 8,000 in Round 2. Aided institutions usually admit candidates up to ranks between 10,000 and 22,000, while private institutions often continue admissions for ranks of 50,000 or higher, subject to seat availability.
