Bokaro: Two minor girls drowned in a well at Lalokoni village in Giridih district on Friday.Zila parishad member Anup Kumar Pandey said the villagers made desperate attempts to rescue the girls and managed to pull them out of the well, but by that time they were already dead.The deceased have been identified as Nagma Khatun and Sahin Praveen. It is yet to be ascertained how the children reached the well or fell into it. Officer in-charge of Sariya police station, Pinku Kumar, said that a probe is underway.TNN
