Bokaro: A 45-year-old man was founding hanging in a lodge in Chas on Friday. The deceased was identified as Lakshman Sao, a resident of Jayaprakash Nagar in Dhanbad district. Sao was a land dealer.Employees of the lodge informed the police after a foul smell started emanating from the room in which Sao was staying since he checked in three days ago. When the room was opened, he was found hanging from the ceiling fan. Sao’s body had decomposed significantly, indicating that he died a couple of days ago.Vedant Shankar, Chas assistant superintendent of police, said, “Preliminary investigation suggests it is a case of suicide. However, postmortem report is awaited to ascertain the cause of death.”
