Dhanbad: Jharia legislator Ragini Singh on Wednesday met Dhanbad deputy commissioner (DC) Aditya Ranjan and held discussions on readmission fee in private schools, traffic mismanagement in key areas and erratic power and water supplies.With mercury levels rising, Ragini urged the DC to take immediate steps to ensure uninterrupted power and clean drinking water to Jharia residents. She raised the issue of traffic congestion near schools in Digwadih area and said poor traffic management is posing safety risks for students. She also sought the administration’s intervention in the high readmission fee being charged by private schools in the area. “A meeting with concerned officials and school authorities will be held in the next few days to find an appropriate solution to the fee issue,” Ranjan informed the MLA.
