The body of a 15-year-old girl, who was missing since May 21, was found hanging from a tree in the district on Saturday. Disclosing details on Sunday, local police station’s officer-in-charge told the media that the girl left home for a bath in the village pond and then went missing. Three days later, she was found hanging from a tree in a remote area about 2 km away from her residence. The OC said the matter is being investigated thoroughly.
