Goghat (sc) (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Prasanta Digar of the BJP won the Goghat (sc) assembly seat, defeating Dr. Nirmal Maji (AITC), Haradhan Santra (INC), Muktaram Dhawrey (All India Forward Bloc), Samir Roy (BSP).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – Bharatiya Janta Party Biswanath Karak, All India Trinamool Congress Manas Majumdar, All India Forward Bloc Shiba Prasad Malick and others. In the last Goghat Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janta Party party’s Biswanath Karak won by a margin of 4,147 votes. The All India Trinamool Congress’s Manas Majumdar was the runner up securing 98,080 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,38,958, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
