Haldia (sc) (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Pradip Kumar Bijali of the BJP won the Haldia (sc) assembly seat, defeating Abhimanyu Mondal (INC), Aniruddha Gayen (IND), Asoke Kumar Patra (CPI(M)), Bhabataran Sahoo (IND), Keya Rani Das (Aam Janata Unnayan party), Tapasi Mondal (AITC).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – Bharatiya Janta Party Tapasi Mondal, All India Trinamool Congress Swapan Naskar, Communist Party Of India (Marxist) Kar Paik Manika and others. In the last Haldia Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janta Party party’s Tapasi Mondal won by a margin of 15,008 votes. The All India Trinamool Congress’s Swapan Naskar was the runner up securing 89,118 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,39,252, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
