Indus (sc) (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Nirmal Kumar Dhara of the BJP won the Indus (sc) assembly seat, defeating Anupam Bagdi (IND), Jharna Mallik (CPI(M)), Mou Mandal Samanta (INC), Nanda Mondal (IND), Shyamali Roy Bagdi (AITC), Tapas Malik (IND).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – Bharatiya Janta Party Nirmal Kumar Dhara, All India Trinamool Congress Runu Mete, Communist Party Of India (Marxist) Nayan Kumar Shill (BAGDI) and others. In the last Indus Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janta Party party’s Nirmal Kumar Dhara won by a margin of 7,220 votes. The All India Trinamool Congress’s Runu Mete was the runner up securing 97,716 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,34,967, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
