Jalpaiguri (sc) (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Ananta Deb Adhikary of the BJP won the Jalpaiguri (sc) assembly seat, defeating Ambalika Roy (IND), Bedodyuti Roy (BSP), Bilash Sarkar (Guruchand Sena Dal), Debendranath Roy (IND), Debraj Barman (CPI(M)), Iswar Barai (Amra Bangalee), Jashoda Barman (SUCI(C)), Krishna Das (AITC), Manabendra Roy (Kamatapur Peoples Party (United)), Sudipta Mohanta (INC), Sujit Mandal (IND), Tumpa Das (IND), Ujjal Sarkar (IND).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Dr. Pradip Kumar Barma, Bharatiya Janta Party Soujit Singha (PIKU), Indian National Congress Sukhbilas Barma and others. In the last Jalpaiguri Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Dr. Pradip Kumar Barma won by a margin of 941 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Soujit Singha (PIKU) was the runner up securing 94,727 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,55,367, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
