Kalna (sc) (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Siddhartha Majumdar of the BJP won the Kalna (sc) assembly seat, defeating Amal Kumar Saha (INC), Anay Saha (IND), Debo Prasad Bag (Poltu) (AITC), Nilratan Biswas (SUCI(C)), Sharmistha Nag Saha (CPI(M)), Subrata Mondal (IND).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Deboprasad Bag (POLTU), Bharatiya Janta Party Biswajit Kundu, Communist Party Of India (Marxist) Nirab Khan and others. In the last Kalna Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Deboprasad Bag (POLTU) won by a margin of 7,478 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Biswajit Kundu was the runner up securing 88,595 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,34,821, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
