Kandi (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Gargi Das Ghosh of the BJP won the Kandi assembly seat, defeating Abhijit Halder (IND), Apurba Sarkar (David) (AITC), Ashis Das (IND), Gokul Hazra (IND), Mesbahul Islam Khan (All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen), Pratap Das (BSP), Rajkumar Mondal (IND), Rejaul Karim (CPI), Sakshi Gopal Deb (Amra Bangalee), Shamim Rana (INC), Srikanta Das (SUCI(C)), Syed Azizur Hossain (Nashim) (IND).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Apurba Sarkar (DAVID), Bharatiya Janta Party Goutam Roy, Indian National Congress Shafiul Alam Khan (BONU) and others. In the last Kandi Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Apurba Sarkar (DAVID) won by a margin of 38,080 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Goutam Roy was the runner up securing 57,319 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,25,488, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
