Karimpur (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Samarendranath Ghosh of the BJP won the Karimpur assembly seat, defeating Dhanapati Mondal (SUCI(C)), Jitendranath Halder (BSP), Pooja Parajita Roy Choudhury (INC), Prabhas Majumdar (CPI(M)), Samar Kumar Ghosh (IND), Samsun Nahar Khatun Sekh (Aam Janata Unnayan party), Soham Chakraborty (AITC), Subrata Das (IND).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Bimalendu Sinha Roy, Bharatiya Janta Party Samarendranath Ghosh, Communist Party Of India (Marxist) Prabhas Majumdar and others. In the last Karimpur Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Bimalendu Sinha Roy won by a margin of 23,575 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Samarendranath Ghosh was the runner up securing 87,336 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,41,362, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
