Kolkata Port (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Firhad Hakim of the AITC won the Kolkata Port assembly seat, defeating Aquib Gulzar (INC), Biswajit Halder (IND), Dinesh Shaw (IND), Faiyaz Ahmad Khan (CPI(M)), Firoza Khatun (BSP), Md Imtiyaz Alam (Aam Janata Unnayan party), Md. Momtaz Alam (IND), Om Prakash Ram (IND), Qaisar Khan (IND), Rakesh Singh (BJP), Sanjay Dey (IND), Sekh Sadik Hossain (IND), Sri Chand Bind (SUCI(C)).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Firhad Hakim, Bharatiya Janta Party Awadh Kishore Gupta, Indian National Congress Md Mukhtar and others. In the last Kolkata Port Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Firhad Hakim won by a margin of 68,554 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Awadh Kishore Gupta was the runner up securing 36,989 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,23,154, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
