Krishnanagar Uttar (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Tarak Nath Chatterjee of the BJP won the Krishnanagar Uttar assembly seat, defeating Adwaita Biswas (CPI(M)), Amitava Nandi (IND), Arghya Gon (INC), Bidhan Halder (BSP), Joydip Chaudhuri (SUCI(C)), Somnath Dutta (AITC).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – Bharatiya Janta Party Mukul Roy, All India Trinamool Congress Koushani Mukherjee, Indian National Congress Silvi Saha and others. In the last Krishnanagar Uttar Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janta Party party’s Mukul Roy won by a margin of 35,089 votes. The All India Trinamool Congress’s Koushani Mukherjee was the runner up securing 74,268 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,30,150, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
