Magrahat Purba (sc) (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Sarmistha Purkait of the AITC won the Magrahat Purba (sc) assembly seat, defeating Atanu Halder (INC), Bhaskar Chandra Naskar (IND), Chandan Saha (CPI(M)), Gobinda Kumar Sardar (BSP), Somnath Naskar (SUCI(C)), Soumendra Nath Sardar (IND), Uttam Kumar Banik (BJP).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Namita Saha, Bharatiya Janta Party Chandan Kumar Naskar, Communist Party Of India (Marxist) Chandan Saha and others. In the last Magrahat Purba Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Namita Saha won by a margin of 54,079 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Chandan Kumar Naskar was the runner up securing 56,866 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,28,746, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
