Matigara-naxalbari (sc) (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Anandamay Barman of the BJP won the Matigara-naxalbari (sc) assembly seat, defeating Amitava Sarkar (INC), Bikash Mandal (IND), Jharen Roy (CPI(M)), Krishna Pada Sinha (IND), Laxmi Das (SUCI(C)), Nimesh Sundas (IND), Pappu Roy (IND), Shankar Malakar (AITC).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – Bharatiya Janta Party Anandamay Barman, All India Trinamool Congress Rajen Sundas, Indian National Congress Sankar Malakar and others. In the last Matigara-Naxalbari Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janta Party party’s Anandamay Barman won by a margin of 70,848 votes. The All India Trinamool Congress’s Rajen Sundas was the runner up securing 68,937 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,67,440, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
