Metiaburuz (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Abdul Khaleque Molla of the AITC won the Metiaburuz assembly seat, defeating Ahmed Ali Molla (IND), Ajaz Ahmed Ansari (Aam Janata Unnayan party), Bir Bahadur Singh (BJP), Mahabbat Khan (IND), Md Mukhtar (INC), Monirul Islam (CPI(M)), Rafiqul Islam Gazi (Indian Union Muslim League), Ram Ramishwar (BSP), Rina Adhikari Roy (SUCI(C)), Sk Monirul Islam (IND).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Abdul Khaleque Molla, Bharatiya Janta Party Ramjit Prasad, Rashtriya Secular Majlis Party Nuruzaman Molla and others. In the last Metiaburuz Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Abdul Khaleque Molla won by a margin of 119,604 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Ramjit Prasad was the runner up securing 31,462 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,33,697, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
