MUMBAI: More than 53,000 students have registered so far for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for six professional and higher education courses for the academic year 2026-27, according to the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell.The ongoing admission process covers Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd), Master of Physical Education (MPEd), three-year LLB, five-year LLB, MEd, and the three-year integrated BEd-MEd programme. A total of 53,017 candidates had completed registration as of June 23.The CET Cell appealed to students who appeared for the 2026 entrance examinations to complete their CAP registration before the respective deadlines to avoid last-minute issues.Among the six courses, the three-year LLB programme has recorded the highest number of registrations, with 36,395 applicants out of 69,473 CET-qualified candidates. The five-year LLB programme follows with 11,496 registrations from 29,288 eligible candidates.Registration for BPEd, MPEd and three-year LLB admissions began on June 11 and will remain open until June 30. Applications for MEd and the integrated BEd-MEd course started on June 16 and will close on July 6. Registration for the five-year LLB programme commenced on June 19 and will continue till July 9. The CET Cell said schedules for admissions to other courses will be announced shortly.Officials advised students to upload passport-sized colour photographs, scanned signatures and all required academic and supporting documents in the prescribed formats while completing the online application process.
