Ranchi: The body of traditional healer Ramesh Thakur, 53, was discovered at his Khorha Toli accommodation under the Sadar police station limits on Wednesday, police said.A resident of Tapovan Colony, Kokar, Thakur was allegedly struck multiple times on the head with a heavy object on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, police added.Quoting tenants, DSP (Sadar) Sanjeev Kumar Besra said, “Former land dealer Thakur used to meet people, who visited him for healing, at the building, where he had also rented out flats. His tenants noticed blood coming out of his room and informed us on Wednesday morning. They reportedly heard noises from his room on Tuesday.”“A forensic team and dog squad visited the scene of crime. CCTV footage of the area is also being examined to identify and arrest the accused,” he added.Three people have been detained for interrogation, Besra added.
