Jhargram (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Lakshmi Kanta Sau of the BJP won the Jhargram assembly seat, defeating Abhijit Singha (IND), Arjun Kumar Mahata (CPI(M)), Ashoke Mahata (IND), Joyram Chalak (Amra Bangalee), Mongal Saren (AITC), Prabir Mahata (IND), Prabir Mandi (IND), Prasenjit De (INC), Subhas Chandra Singha (SUCI(C)), Subhasis Karak (IND), Sundar Mohan Murmu (BSP).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Birbaha Hansda, Bharatiya Janta Party Sukhamay Satpathy (JAHAR), Communist Party Of India (Marxist) Madhuja Sen Roy and others. In the last Jhargram Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Birbaha Hansda won by a margin of 38,240 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Sukhamay Satpathy (JAHAR) was the runner up securing 71,253 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,26,032, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
